So, just this morning I initiated transfer of free-haven.org from godaddy to mydomain.com, and that transfer has already been successful.
I just updated the DNS servers.
I already have the domain set up in my linode DNS manager, and have it set up in apache on my server, but the DNS stuff needs time to resolve.
When that is done, I will be installing friendica on that domain, in the top-level, and will shortly become tony@free-haven.org

This current install is in a subdir of a domain, which apparently can cause problems with some federation stuff.

And, doesn't "free-haven.org" sound like a great name for a friendica node, anyway?

Then I will have the experience of installing and configuring friendica twice. Because I'm cool like that.

I lumped the mibbit plugin, but I made something even better!
I made a Freenode IRC chat plugin, and it works!

Okay, so here's the plan:

I have set in motion the wheels to move my domain http://www.free-haven.org, and when that's ready, I will be installing friendica there, at the toplevel domain, and moving, hopefully, for the last time.  I will friend-request all of you again then.  In the meantime, I'm still hanging here.
It could take up to a week to get the domain moved and get around to setting myself up again...or it may happen over the weekend. Not sure.
